SWIM FREE IN THE NEWS
Swim Free has selected the Plainfield Area YMCA, Children's Village/Harlem Polo Center, and NYC Parks as recipient of funds to support learn to swim programs. As a result, over 100 kids will be placed in programs that will teach them the skills they need to swim. These organizations will also receive swimsuits and goggles, courtesy of Dolfin Swimwear and Kings County Divers. This will be a great addition to the 1,200 swimsuits donated to NYC children participating in Asphalt Green's Waterproofing Program.
Swim Free launched its Swim Free Angel™ program, an initiative that helps comfort people, young and old, who are anxious in and around the water. The Angels provide support shore-side and in the water, offering encouragement and coping mechanisms to help people overcome their fears.
